The occasion was the appointment on May 31 with the Quartino, together with Leonardo Romanelli, Walter Sovran and Letizia Cesani. There has been talk of Vernaccia di San Gimignano, of how this denomination has made its way over the past 20 years in the panorama of white wines.

The tastings went well beyond the 2014 vintage that was the subject of the appointment, and Intravino published its own tasting reviews of Panizzi wines, extremely flattering especially for Vigna Santa Margherita 2014 and for Vernaccia Panizzi Riserva 2014 and 2015.
