A territory lives through the people who walk its streets: streets of food, wine and culture. This is why we happily greet the reopening of the Tower and Campatelli house in San Gimignano, starting from 22 May.

Torre and Casa Campatelli are an asset of FAI, the Italian Environmental Fund, which has communicated the reopening to the public of most of its historical, artistic and landscape heritage.

In San Gimignano it is again possible, from Thursday to Sunday from 10.30 to 19.00, to book a visit to this fascinating 28-meter-high tower house, the only one of the 14 towers of San Gimignano that survived having preserved the original single volume of the building (dating back to the XII century), completely empty inside.

Of course, the methods of visit are safe: you can book online on the FAI page dedicated to Torre and Casa Campatelli, and you will receive by email not only the booking confirmation with the access methods, but also a link from which to download the materials of support, which will no longer be distributed in paper format.

The reopening of Torre and Casa Campatelli is therefore a good sign to return to live the territory of San Gimignano, with the colors of its ancient streets and its countryside, and to rediscover the taste of sipping a glass of Vernaccia directly in the shadow of the towers.
