We had the honor of welcoming Fernando Pardini to Panizzi, and on the occasion we opened some bottles of our Vigna Santa Margherita Cru.

VERNACCIA DI SAN GIMIGNANO VIGNA SANTA MARGHERITA 2013: Substantial, typical, earthy, the mixture of flavors calls to mind an old fashioned Vernaccia but without rustic drifts. If anything, the tactile fibrousness announces tenacity and firmness, without ever lacking control of form and rightness in tone. The tangle of scents, among dried fruits, peat and balsams, is a viaticum to a tasty, concrete development, without fluttering.
VERNACCIA DI SAN GIMIGNANO VIGNA SANTA MARGHERITA 2015: A Chablis in San Gimignano. Herbs, hay, dried fruit, peat, spearmint and linden blossom sketch a noble, complex aromatic framework, open to the subtlest details and perfectly tuned in every voice. The mouth, in full correspondence, will appear to you elegantly resolved, broad, fresh and diffuse. Truly an excellent achievement.
