Vinification/aging

Soft pressing of whole grapes with fermentation, maturation and aging in new French barriques for 12 months. Then 7 months in steel and 24 months in bottle.

Sensory notes

Rich straw yellow in color, with greenish hints tending toward old gold. The bouquet is broad, aristocratic, highly variegated in a balanced initial blend of broom blossom and walnut husk, grapefruit and melon, fading into vanilla notes harmonized with the mineral hints of flint that develop in the long-aged Vernaccia.

Origin

Selection of the best grapes from a single vineyard at 400 m altitude located on a tuffaceous sandstone plateau. Hand harvest in the second half of September. Vineyard area 2 ha.
