CERASO ROSATO TUSCANA IGT

Thin but with character

A rosé wine with a very light hue, which we obtain using the same winemaking techniques applied to Vernaccia. Sangiovese, merlot and pinot nero are in fact vinified in white, to preserve the freshness that is indispensable for us in rosè drinking. What is also retained in doing so is the strong savory territorial imprint typical to San Gimignano. Ceraso is the "now" wine, always the right choice if you're looking for a versatile, thirst-quenching and enveloping sip.

Grape varietals

40% sangiovese, 40% merlot, 20% pinot nero

Vinification/aging

Cold maceration on the skins for 10-12 hours, very soft and slow pressing of the grapes to capture the right coloring of the must. Clarification of the must by static decantation, followed by fermentation in steel tanks at 19°C. Bottled young.

Sensory notes

soft, vibrant pink, rich bouquet of fruity nuances ranging from strawberry to raspberry to pomegranate. Cherry and citrus fruit and hints of fresh grass, the sip is smooth and saline, a wine that makes ductility its irresistible strength.
