Vernaccia di San Gimignano Panizzi Riserva 2016 confirms all its qualities as a winning wine and vintage: in fact, at the national final of the Guida Vinibuoni d’Italia – 2021 edition, which ended on September 4, it was awarded one of the 623 Crowns assigned, the Guide’s highest recognition.
A particularly prestigious result also due to the large number of selected companies (+5% compared to 2020), and labels that made it to the finals (as many as 800).
The Guide is unique in the Italian and international scene because it is the only one dedicated to wines from indigenous grape varieties, that is, those wines produced 100 percent from grape varieties that have been present in the Peninsula for more than 300 years.
